Detail of horizontal instead of vertically downwards growing primary root
The horizontal part is pruned off the primary root
Now we have a repaired downwards growing primary root
Pieter Hoff teaches the students to prune the stem in order to prevent evaporation
The stem is pruned to ten cm length
The students follow the classes with attention and write their notes
She opens the pot to find the horizontal part of the primary root in order to prune it.
The Groasis waterboxx is assembled
She places the waterboxx over the tree
She puts the soil against the box so that wind cannot dry the soil out below it
The leaves are also pruned to reduce evaporation
We give 4 liters indirectly in the middle opening if given directly in the opening roots will wash out
